It's lovely to be home. Here you can really be away from the hustle and bustle
We passed here while out walking the day before yesterday
I imagine living here. Miles from the nearest road, and nothing or no one around for miles.I wonder how it would be? The house belongs to the local estate and is closed up for the winter
Eating a satsuma and wondering where his chair has gone!
My feet enjoyed their recent holiday flip flopping about in sandals
but here at home with tracks like this
it's back to walking boots and gaiters. I think my feet quite enjoy this too!
They say home is where the heart is, and my heart felt happy to be out in these great big open empty spaces again.

oh to come home to such incredible spaces. i feel the same about here where i live, although it is not quite so rural as you (or as i'd like) still, it's wonderful to travel to beauty and so wonderful to come home to it too.
You have mastered the new camera. These shots are perfect.
Thanks for such wonderful photos! I know where I'd rather be!
We're always glad to go and even happier to get back home again. Though your photos of Tenerife were beautiful I prefer the look of Scotland.
What a contrast to your last post!
Scotland looks so beautiful, wild and remote but apart from the heat I know which place I would prefer.

It really is true that "there's no place like home." I love your pictures! I think that house would be very exposed to the elements, especially the wind. But it is very charming.
How great that you had a real getaway, and great too that you've enjoyed being home again so much! I loved Jo's "swans".
Wonderful expansive beauty. The blues are so blue!
