The Lochbroom Sheepdog Trials. It's always a great day out. We go along and together with other Lochsiders try and give a helping hand to the local farmers and families who run it. Tea making and serving beef burgers and home baked cakes is the order of the day and having sampled just about everything I can say it was all very tasty! The weather as expected was changeable but it was warm enough and the midges stayed away. I don't know whether the sheep enjoy it but the dogs seemed to and it's such a pleasure to watch them working with their owners. They form a very strong partnership. Thank you for all your lovely comments on previous blog posts. I don't often respond to them I know but I do really always enjoy getting them!

I'm not a dog person but if forced to choose one it would be a border collie.
