Just a glimpse of Harris and Lewis but mainly of Harris

We went in November with some friends for a week to Harris in the Outer Hebrides. It was wonderful. The incredible light. Low lying sun. Deep contrasts of light and shade. Weather in the extreme. Biting wind, rainbows and a landscape that changed continually. Surrounded by sea it was beautiful. Harris is beyond lovely.
And they distil rather a nice gin too!

Hello, from a Lurker. I really hope that you continue blogging - your photographs are just stunning. I have a view of Skye on my wall, a print by Gillian McDonald, but it doesn't compare with some of your photos!

I struggle sometimes with my blog, but I would miss it if I decided to mothball it.

Thank you Bovey Belle. I've had to lose some of the picture quality in re-sizing the images. Hopefully it doesn't show too much when posting just on the blog. Yes, I agree I didn't want to mothball my blog either...but it is a struggle at times!

Wow Annie, What stunning photos!! What a fantastic place & I love the little furry friend. Are you still using your Olympus camera? I shall be showing these to James! Take care. XX

Hi Diane
Still using the same old Olympus omd! I should probably update it as they have more advanced models now, but I'm happy for the time being!
