Inverewe Garden

Inverewe Garden is always worth a visit. Even on a chilly November afternoon with the sun low in the sky there is still something to see. Garden life hanging on by a thread, (except for the cabbages which are huge), keeps the winter at bay for just a little longer! I was tempted to pick a nice lettuce for tea but thought I shouldn't.

I enjoy Poolewe but have never seen the gardens as they don't let dogs in. Thank you for the look round. These Capchurs get difter.

Adrian, I'm not sure what that last sentence means - but when in doubt I'll take it as a compliment!
Sorry about the dogs they would probably enjoy the garden....maybe that's why they can't come in!

A lovely garden, isn't it! Many years since I was there though.

Thank you for that stroll through Inverewe. I haven't been there for a long time - since the hurricane that felled so many trees about 10 years ago. It's great to see it looking so good, and not as stripped bare as I'd imagined.
