Morning Light

The sun gets just a little lower in the mornings. Here in our local woods the contrast between light and dark is so strong. The brightness of the sun highlights exquisite detail in amongst the dark and velvety back drop of the forest

I know spiders aren't a favourite with everyone but you must admit their houses are pretty. Tiny and delicate made of gossamer they sparkle in the early morning sun, and, actually the spiders sparkle too if you can manage to look! They were quite small and very busy with housework. 

The Screen Machine

I've not tried doing this before! The reason I didn't get my blog post done yesterday was because I had a girls night out in Ullapool! The Screen Machine came to the leisure centre car park in Ullapool and I went with my neighbour to see Ab Fab. It was funny enough but the best entertainment was to be had just sitting in this amazing cinema lorry. The You Tube video shows the screen machine visiting Islay.

A Fine Day

Nothing really beats, walking with friends in the Highlands. It's so beautiful and empty and a real feeling of leaving all earthly cares behind...

Old and new squares

It's the little squares time of year. This years theme is 'Exquisite Bodies' I got mine delivered to the gallery in time. My Exquisite Bodice is a bit tongue in cheek and just a bit of fun.
