Last Week

Washing day blues.
Edith comes for coffee and birthday cake with friends
and I only think to take a picture after the guests and cake have gone!
We discover yet another little cove tucked away on the west coast. Altan na Bradhan. and well worth a visit should you be in the area.
On the way down to the shore we find the remains of an old corn mill
I think one of the old millstones would look perfect in the garden...
but  don't think it fair to ask Niels to carry one back to the car!
A friend arrives this afternoon for a few days and right on course the weather is changing back to wind and rain and more rain!

We have friends coming to stay in May - on last year's performance, that's when our wind and rain will really strike!

You always take such great pictures, loved the shirts in the wind.

So many lovely places to visit when we are next in the area. Could Nils roll the wheel down? We've got one in our garden. Just sayin'.

Wow! Stunning photos that make me feel I'm right there. I think "Altan na Bradan" means the little stream of the salmon. I wonder if there are wild salmon there? Something to look out for next time you're there.

I hope Jo is continuing to improve. We're seeing tiny improvements in our daughter, for which I am HUGELY thankful.
