Last week it snowed. Lovely powdery proper snow. In bad weather we leave a car at the top of the drive, but this time we were caught out! The snow lasted for several days but bit by bit as the sun shone and the temperature rose it disappeared. Today it's raining!

Ooh that chilly blue light! I can just remember the smell of cold snowy air, but it's all systems go for Spring down here. Mind you it could easily revert to Winter and frost burn all the magnolias.

Simply Scotia, the tracks are mine I think! I'd been up to the top of the drive to check the post bin. The little blue bottle on the window sill is one I dug up in the garden...I'm still digging up bottles and old shoes and other such household items long since thrown out before the days of council tips..!
