A bit of a draught

And so, we've spent time today tying up the caravan (best boy scout knots)
and weighing down the tarpaulin
and hoping the engineer's calculations on wind stability for the house were correct!

Are you still there? Is everything still in one piece? I'll bet that the house is just fine what with being Danish and already having survived a north sea crossing, the caravan, on the other hand, I'm slightly worried about?! xxx Em

We're OK Em, and the caravan! It missed us, not the caravan as it shot past the window! but the storm. It went much further to the west. Even Stornaway (Stormaway as it shall now be known!) in the Western Isles was spared the predicted wind speeds. All the tying up and weighing down was in vain! Hey Ho! Will see you in March - you, Dan, Jo and your Dad - brilliant! xx
