Through the window

Having breakfast this morning and looking out of the window
I could see the snow falling in the middle of the loch
and I know I've taken this picture a dozen times before, and droned on and on about the wonderful big weather picture
but it is rather beautiful and it's what I miss when I'm away from here.  This is from the sitting room window, the snow turns a corner and disappears further up the loch. It meets the sun which is now so low in the sky it can't get over the mountain tops.
Apologies for such a familiar sort of post!
Next time I'll 'do'  the bathroom. It's now finished - at last. I can't understand why it took so long. Too much looking out of the window I expect!

I am not surprised you spend a lot of time looking out of the window the view seems to be wonderful all times. No wonder you miss it when you come South!!

Great photographs.

Keep those scenery photographs coming, much more interesting than the bathroom.

When I read your Blog and see your pictures it makes me want to visit Scotland. The Orkneys have been on my Bucket List for years, but I'm beginning to think I need to see more. My husband says that if he can fish he'll go.

Fishing here is popular, brown trout and salmon I think. I too should love to visit the Orkneys.
